    Essay #1: How did you get to be the person you are today? 50 points
    Open and view the 3 attachments below; the first contains your directions for this first essay; the second contains a shortened version of a model paper completed by a former student, and the thrid is a worksheet that will defintely help you think through influences that have made you who you are today. This paper needs to be 5 paragraphs in length. Paragraphs can be as short as three sentence each. Be sure to identify five major influences on makingou who you are today, and use the paragraphs to explain how these infuences worked in influencing your life, clarifying how these difference aspects of your life impacted on you to make you who are you. Use model paper and worksheet as guides for your own work.
    Each paragraph is potentially worth a maximum of ten points. Please ponder on this assignment and think deeply about the possible variables listed on the worksheet. You do not need to submit the worksheet but you do need to consider how each has impacted on you. I expect this paper to be double-spaced and approximately two pages in length.

    Essay #2 Who are you in relation to your small group assignments? 30 points
    This essay should be three paragraphs long, each paragraph worth a maximum of ten points. Paragraph 1 addresses the question…What did you learn about working in small groups, based on your small group assignments in this course? Paragraph 2 addresses…..Who were you in your small group? What role(s) did you take on in working on these small group assignments? Paragraph 3 addresses….What role(s) would you like to take on in future small group assignments and why? I anticipate this paper will be approximately 1 1/2 pages, double-spaced.

    Short answer essay #3 Identify two important lessons you learned from the Self-Improvement Assignment and how these lessons may serve you well in the future. 5 points

    Short answer essay #4 Go into your Resources tab and open the cartoon titled Conformity; write a short essay on why the cartoon is funny; what makes it true and what makes it false? 5 points

    Short essay #5 Briefly discuss five insights into relationships you may have gained through reading and discussing the Interpreter of Maladies short stories. 5 points

    Short essay #6 List five important and or interesting things you learned about yourself or your classmates through our class meetings and class assignments. Lessons should be written as full sentences and be thoughtful and serious in intent. 5 points.
