A short and concise review of Dead Wake:The Last Crossing of the Lusitania, by Erik Larson. Must be an engaging in a capable discussion of the book. The paper must be convincing enough that the professor believes I read the book. The review must explain what the author is trying to say in their work. The book’s title should give you a clue as to what the author is trying to say and their take on the subject. DO NOT, however, read too much into the title, as the book is deeper than the somewhat hyperbolic title suggests.
3 to 5 pages, not counting title page.
Standard English, correct syntax, paragraph and sentence structure.
Use Chicago Manual of Style when using quotes from the book itself throughout the paper.
Must include whether you think the author succeeded or failed in making their case. Use quotes from the book that may help illustrate the thesis, comment on what the authors did right in the book, or you can criticize them for any perceived shortcomings. Must also include whether you liked the book or bot and explain why.
