B) Choose one topic from the options given in the thread.  Join the forum by providing reflections. Be creative in including relevant considerations, concepts, or arguments from the modules. Cite your sources.

C) Quotations from references (if any) should not comprise more than 25% of your response. Responses must be original, personally relevant, yet integrative of materials we have used (as well as pertinent additional resources you wish to include).

D) Maintain an academically informed tone that is balanced, reflective, integrative, clear, and concise.

A) Would you say that women living in the Philippines are “second-class” to men simply by being female?  Elaborate on why or why not?  For instance, do Filipina women have it better or worse than women in other societies?  Elaborate on the intersectionality of identities involved.  What specific dimensions affect the treatment of women, such as class (wealthy vs. poor women), race (American women in the Philippines, vs. Chinese vs. Filipina, etc.), sexual orientation (lesbian vs. straight, etc.), place of origin (city dwellers vs. rural), religion (Catholic vs. Muslim vs. Protestant, etc), and other identity dimensions?  What would be a “fair or just” way/scenario for women in societies?
