How would you compare movie with TV in terms of their influence over our society? 

Which one seems more influential, or is it difficult to compare and why? Please 

summarize the textbook discussion on “television and society” (P. 235-239) and provide 

your insight on that. Please then use one TV series as your example to further illustrate 

your idea. You will need to give a brief overview of the story line of the show as well as 

how it is received by public and critics.
