(a)State the precise topic to be covered in the term paper (e.g., intimate partner violence against pregnant women, physical child abuse against children with disabilities, etc.).(b)Provide a 3 to 4page outline of their proposed term paper. This outline should include APA style headings to differentiate each section required in the term paper, and can be written in bulleted or narrative form. Each required section in the term paper should be included in your outline (see Term Paper Assignment Part B for details regarding required term paper sections). As well,specificmain points (e.g., actual prevalence of violence in specific population, specific theories that will be discussed, etc.) to be included in each section should be listed under each heading.(c)Provide an annotated bibliography (maximum 2 pages) of the references (at least 3references specific to your topic mustbe included in the annotated bibliography) that you plan touse in your final term paper. References mustinclude: one source on therisk factors for violence in your specific population,one source on a specific theory that has been(or could be)applied to understanding violence in your specific population, and one source on protective factors and/or a prevention strategy that might be useful for reducing and/or eliminating violence among the specific population. Note: a copy of the article’s abstract is not sufficient to meet this requirement as the student is expected to explain how and why each specific article is relevant to yourspecific term paper. For the purposes of this assignment, required references are limited to peer-reviewed journal articles, scholarly books specific to your topic, chapters in an edited book specific to your topic, and/or government or public health agency reports. Reference entries in the annotated bibliography should be formatted according to APA guidelines. After each reference, include a brief description (1 paragraph maximum) of the reference and its relevancy to your proposed term paper topic.Assignments should adhere to APA guidelines (double-spaced, one inch margins, 12 point font, headings, etc.). The assignment should be a minimum of 5 pages and a maximum of 6pages long(not including the APA style title page).
