Kantian ethics (KE) and Deontology (D): Is it possible that the utilitarians are wrong in considering pleasure and consequences as primary in moral judgments? What is Kant's alternative, and how does his Catagorical Imperative (CI) work in practice? Consider whether the two formulations of the CI are equivalent, looking at particular examples. What are the strengths and weaknesses of this theory, and how does it compare, in your final analysis, to Utilitarianism, or to the other theories covered in the course?
