– ‘Value’ is a much contested word in cultural policy. According to the literature, what are the main issues for those defining and evaluating cultural value?
Please note that this question is in effect a literature review. Literature reviews of cultural policy topics are very much encouraged.
The word count for Context 2 (Cultural Policy) is 3,000 words. The word count needs to be displayed on the paper on the end page (ie on the page on which the conclusion ends, and before the bibliography pages).
We have a tolerance of 10% (ie any work that is 2,700-3,300 words is acceptable and will be marked without a penalty for word count).
Any work that falls outside of this 10% band (ie is less than 2,700 or more than 3,300 words) will be seen as failing to meet the criteria for the module and will fail unmarked (ie receive a mark of 0 without feedback).
Word count includes the body of the paper, ie Title, Introduction, body of the paper through to the Conclusion, and all quotes, referencing and citation. Word count does not include Abstract, Contents page, Bibliography, Appendices.
