EVENTS & MEGA EVENTS – what is an event and how are they defined? What makes Mega Events different to other event categories? How are Mega events evaluated and monitored, or are they? (~500 words)
ACADEMIC RESEARCH – Explore the history of events research to looking at if and why there might be an academic focus on mega events over other types of events. Is it true that ‘other kinds of events are less understood [critical] and why if they are, are mega event impacts more important / interesting to academics and their research? Is the trend changing [objective]? (~500words)
IMPACTS – what do we mean by events impacts? How are they defined, and do they differ between the categories of events [critical]? If so how, why and does it make any difference in their understandings? (~500 words)
Conclusion – This is your chance to say what you think in ‘your words’, ‘your conclusions’ which derive from the evaluation / findings. This is where you need not to be referencing, but DO NOT introduce new subjects you are concluding, not including / adding! This is your words where there maybe conflicts with what different people say or between theory and practice. (300-400 words)
