You are required to conduct a critical review of decision making within a work place that you are familiar with. You should draw upon theory relating to decision making introduced during the module to help you – select and employ two different theoretical viewpoints when conducting this review.

You could base this on Food Manufacture or a car Manufacture (Toyota, BMW, etc) or anything which is based on Manufacture (PC; TV; etc).

Specific Criteria:

• Clearly introduce both the assignment and the organisational setting
• Provide a brief discussion which states and gives an overview of each theoretical viewpoint you are employing
• Using your chosen theoretical viewpoints, critically review some aspect of managerial decision making in your chosen organisation
• Offer discussion and conclusions covering –
i. the implications and recommendations for this aspect of decision making in your chosen organisation, and
ii. the use of your selected theoretical viewpoints to review decision making practice
• Make effective use of a broad range of relevant literature

How decision makes on for example to launch new product or to move in different location or service level improvement.
