Do these items apply to your business model?

1) Identify who you are.

2) Articulate why the business plan was written and submitted to the reader.

3) State the desired action requested from the reader.

4) Qualify the opportunity between the reader and the writer.

5) If addressing a potential financier: How much money is being requested?

6) If addressing a potential financier: What are you going to do with the money?

7) If addressing a potential financier: How long do you need the money for?

8) If addressing a potential financier: How the funds will be repaid?

9) If addressing a potential financier: How can you assure me that I will get my money back?

Note: Cover letter should be designated to possible investors so please do not use:
1) I or We (Who says?) Add according to instead and back up with reference.
2) Don’t use bullets
3) No doubts (no if) (no maybe) (no expect to)
4) Make sure not to teach business to the reader
