    Learning Monitoring tool (Rubrics)
    Since, the postgraduate programs are most likely self-dependent; these require creativity, open mindset, ethical hard work, teamwork spirit, respect diversity, and analytical skills. This monitoring and assessment tool is used to report on whether you read and understand, whether you assimilate the knowledge, whether you develop enquiry ability, whether you have the potential to conduct critical thinking and whether you can reflect on the knowledge accumulated by relating to real situations. It will be considered as evidence on the effectiveness of the learning process. On top of that, the following structure and its different sections will be used as comprehensive rubrics to mark your critique.

    The Structure & the Rubrics

    I. In the first section of the report, you are required to provide a summary (100 – 300 words) in your own words on the article read.
    II. In the second section, list the key learning points from within the article.
    III. In the third section, select at least 8 statements that you would agree or disagree with, providing the justification of your opinion. In your justification, you are kindly requested to support your own opinions by extra different readings such as other recent refereed articles, reference books, textbooks, official reports. These readings could be of support or of contradict to your opinions. All of these readings should be well cited and referenced at the very end of your report. This section will enrich your understanding and comprehension of the topic.
    IV. The fourth section is where you provide a critical analysis of the article. In this part, you are encouraged to constructively criticize the article from the title, the literature, the methodology, the findings and the references. This section will enrich your research and analytical skills.
    V. In the fifth section, explain how you could apply the subject matter from the article in the UAE. In this part, you should discuss the UAE national culture effect (helping or hindering) on the application of the subject matter of the study. You are highly encouraged to check on the possibility of the application of this topic into a real company case in the UAE. This section will enrich your knowledge of the surrounding business environment and culture.
    VI. In the sixth section, describe in general form what have you learnt?
    VII. In the last section, You are requested to include all your well-written (APA style) list of references that you have used to prepare this critique.
