    In this module, we will begin a two part case study examining racial biases. Case Study 5 includes Parts I and II of the case "Studying Racial Bias: Too Hot to Handle?" by Jane Marantz Connor at the State University of New York at Binghamton.     Case Study 5 Questions.

    1. Summarize the research ideas presented in parts I and II of the case study. What information influenced their decision to study this topic?

    2. Compare/contrast the APA Code of Ethics to the Belmont Report discussed in the article.

    3. Compare/contrast Saint Leo University's Core Values to the Belmont Report discussed in the article.

    4. Do you think the research proposal described in Part I is consistent with the federal guidelines for the approval of research with human subjects and the ethical principles outlined in the Belmont Report (Connor, 2000)? Explain.
