Commercial projects have an array of carpentry work, much of which is hidden in the drawings and specifications (specs). Most residential projects include wood-framed construction. An estimator should be proficient in reading plans and specs in order to locate framing and finishing items. Calculating quantities and production rates for carpentry work can be challenging due to the disparate nature of the work. In this assignment, you will apply and check your understanding of the skills and knowledge required to complete quantity takeoff and the pricing of carpentry work.
