Go to the website and then follow the links: Government and Officials>State Legislative>Texas.
Select two (2) of the current Texas Senators or House members (do not select members of the U.S. Congress). Your selections cannot be from your home district. Write one (1) paragraph for each selected member of the legislature.
For each member, first tell whether the individual is a Senator or a member of the House and then give five (5) pieces of information (indicate in a complete sentence if the above website does not give certain information):
the date first elected to office,
the date last elected to office,
political party,
highest level of education, and
professional experience (occupation/work).
