For each song, you will first analyze and interpret the piece answering the appropriate questions from the “Questions to Ask of Art.” To wrap up your paper, you will compare and contrast the songs’ genres (Baroque, Classical, Jazz, Modern, etc.) as heard in the musical pieces you selected, referencing material you have learned in this week’s reading and lecture. (Note: although you will have access to this music through YouTube videos, your paper should stick strictly to the music, not the images.) The format of your paper should be structured as follows:
