Film organization profile. Write a typed, 350-500 word profile of an organization connected in some way to film (representation, production, etc.). This organization should not be a major Hollywood studio.

-BHERC (Black Hollywood Education and Resource Center)
Your profile should be written in complete sentences and consider the following:
(1) Brief history of the organization (When? Where? Why? Who was involved? What
do they do? What is the organization’s relationship to filmmakers? To audiences?)
(2) Analyze the organization’s staff and/or board of directors from an intersectional perspective. How do the demographic make-up and experience of the executives at this studio compare to that of the staff and board of directors at the film studio you profiled?
(3) Analyze the organization’s mission and work in the context of some of the readings, themes, and/or key terms discussed in class. Would you consider this organization to be feminist or committed to feminist work? Why or why not?
(4) Include a word count at the end of the paper.
