From Chapters 12-14 of the Executive’s Guide to COSO Internal Controls (Moeller book), you will author a paper on the major themes contained in the chapters.

–Submit by the due date and time listed.

–APA style will be used. In text citations required following APA style (as shown in the Purdue Owl Sample APA paper). Reference page required following APA style.

–At least 5 full pages.

–Only 1 small direct quote (no more than two lines) per every TWO pages of written text that is properly cited using an in text citation and listed on the Reference page. Directly quoted material must contain the proper punctuation–quotation marks. For example, a 5 page paper would have a maximum of 2 small quotes. No exception. No “cut and paste” papers.

–Paraphrased work must also have an in text citation and be listed on the Reference page.

–Address and explain the major themes in these chapters and why the standard exists/its relevance to accounting. Bring in OUTSIDE peer reviewed and business related journals into the paper to provide additional information.
