A Behavior Pattern

    Instructions:Please check those items below that apply to you, in general. Do not spend too much time thinking about these- take no more than 5 minutes to complete this handout.

    After completing the handout, count how many items you have checked. Note that the more items you have checked, the higher your score will be on this crude measure of Type A Behavior. I would say that a score between 1 and 4 is low and a score between 7 and 10 is high.

    2. discuss your results,

    3. discuss the links between Type A behavior and health, including cardiovascular disease as described in the textbook.

    4. How do you think your level of Type A behavior affects your health? If it does affect you, what could you do to change your behavior?
