Please review the SPSS introductory video and follow along with your SPSS program.  The goal is to learn how to enter data and understand the various components of SPSS.

Once you have finished reviewing the video.

1) What is the difference between variable view and Data view

2) Which view do you enter actual information from your survey respondents?

3) When reviewing the variable view. Think about your question on the survey.  How would you label (code) your specific question?

4) What is your understanding of “variable” and “value”?

5) What did you learn about SPSS and the relationship to excel?

6) Do you have any concerns about the data entry portion of this course?

7) Identify some fears/concerns and how do you think you can resolve it?
