Paper, due 12/2:
The paper will focus on one aspect of film form – narration, mise-en-scene,
cinematography, editing or sound – in one film that is shown in class. The purpose of the
paper is to illustrate that you have an understanding of how specific techniques in a film
lead to the production of a film’s form. Terminology from the reading should be used.
The paper will be 1,000 – 1,500 words long, typed and double-spaced, in 12pt Times
font with pages numbered and stapled. DO NOT turn in work via email.
