Hi I have to write c2500 words for a technical association on modern day apprenticeships in the UK. I do not have time to research this, not least as legislation is changing in the UK with a new levy coming in for businesses.
This is not an academic paper but one for circulation amongst members of a technical association in the paper & printing industries in the UK. The writer should be UK based?

Background – The UK has missed its way with apprenticeships but new legislation is promising to energize the vocational route from school to work. The brief history of apprenticeships should be covered and the background to the proposed changes together with commentary on why vocational training v university education has a place in the 21st century with particular where possible to the paper & print industries in the UK.
