    2.Think about a negotiation situation that you expect to enter in the next several months. This is your chance to plan ahead and prepare for the negotiation. It

    should not be a situation that you have already negotiated. The negotiation could be with a neighbor, a friend, a co-worker, an employer, a service provider, or anyone

    else who has something you need or want and for which you (and they) are willing to negotiate. A negotiation that involves only one other party is best; multiparty

    negotiations can get complicated.
    3.Write a brief essay (two to three pages), in APA format, in which you: a.Describe the situation that you are preparing to negotiate.
    b.Identify the people who are involved in the negotiation. Describe what you believe each person who will be involved in the negotiation wants from the other.
    c.Describe what you think matters to each person in the negotiation (using the economic and social psychological outcomes discussed in Theme 2 as your guide), and

    predict how that might affect how the negotiation progresses (for example, communication choices, negotiation styles, possible outcomes).
    d.Include at least two APA-style in-text citations to course materials to support your analysis.
