More than one original
Artists, such as Andy Warhol, Katsushika Hokusai, Toulouse Lautrec, and many others choose to create original art in a reproducible format. The prints are the artist’s original idea, in the original format; there’s just more than one. This dilemma is only increasing with time with artists using photography, graphic art, digital art, video art and more. So, what other criteria can we use to determine the value of a work of art? Do we value work created in one-of-a-kind formats more?
