”Shortage of nurses has been a controversial issue in the United States , that affects quality of patient care; it also has an enormous affect on nurses. Time nurses spend with their patients is very limited. This issue increases workload of health care professionals, which leads to more stress, fatigue and possible error while caring for the patient. Federal government should decrease nurse to the patient ratio, improve quality of educational system and its accessibility to qualified students (future healthcare professionals).”
