Reflective Essays:
You will be required to write three reflective essays, one for each of the three main sections of the course. These essays will seek to test your understanding of the material covered in each section, by giving you the opportunity to reflect on the major themes and questions raised by your readings. You should expect to write somewhere around 1000 to 1500 words for each of these essays. The due dates are marked on your course calendar. The essays should be prepared using a word-processing program and sent to the dropbox.
The First Reflective Essay:
You have 2 tasks to do in your First Reflective Essay.
1. Compare and contrast Christianity and Islam in terms of belief and practice.
2. How does each religion pursue the question of ultimate truth? Which one’s approach is superior and why?
Remember to cite from your readings at least twice per page, using the simple format of ending a sentence with (author, title, pg. number).
